I've recently purchased a few goodies and wanted to share them with you.
Since it's a new year and I'm finished with school I want to start blogging and vlogging again. Here's my first attempt for the new year. :)
I ordered from Sephora online and these are the things that I purchased.
I've heard nothing but good things about the Tarte line of primers. I have combination skin and the purple one is the "poreless" which is supposed to help with shine and minimizing pores. I tried it today and so far so good. The brown one is the "flawless" which is supposed to illuminate your skin. The small white one is an eye primer. I'll let you guys know how I like that one.
The next thing I purchased is also from the Tarte makeup line. I've also heard nothing but great things about this concealer. It's the 24hr Amazonian Clay concealer in the color medium. (below is a swatch). I used this today as well and I'm in love!! It goes on like butter. It's so smooth and blends flawlessly with amazing coverage. It's around $22 but it's well worth it if you're looking for a great concealer. Because of the price tag I'll definitely be reserving this for special occasions.
Now on to my Ulta purchase:
I went in with a friend a few weeks ago to help her find a lipstick and I came out with this concealer. I've seen several YouTubers use this and mention that it's a great drugstore concealer. I got it in the color medium. I love it! It provides amazing coverage and lasts all day!! I set it with a translucent powder. This is definitely a great everyday concealer.
A MAC purchase!!!
I've been eyeing this blush for such a long time. I've heard several bloggers talk about this and finally got the opportunity to go to a MAC store to swatch it. The color is Melba. It's a really pretty peachy/coral/pinky color. It looks super natural on. It's also a matte so there's no shimmer. I love this for everyday.
One of my very best friends gave me this as one of my Christmas gifts. I wanted it after I she bought it. LOL I use this everyday while I'm putting my makeup on. It's a great base right before I apply my lipstick. It's a light balm with lots of shine. It's super light and has just a hint of pink tint to it. Nothing major.
Have any of you tried these products? I'd love to know what you think of them!!!
Later Love Bugs!!
